A leading UK security and safety product supplier with a portfolio of over 1000+ products are looking for an Area Sales Manager to help maintain and grow and existing client base in the southern region.
Their portfolio is supplied to an extensive range of retail and distribution partners, from locksmiths to industrial supplies, including e-commerce, mail order and via the high street retailers.
Job title : Area Sales Manager – Southern England Salary : £45k - £50k (DOE) Location : Remote / Southern Region Benefits : 20% of salary commission structure, 25 days holiday, company car + fuel card, company credit card, personal healthcare, pension The Area Sales Manager's duties will include: Managing up to approximately 250 active accounts spread across the South of England.
Targeted on growth from existing accounts Retention and development of existing customer portfolio (turnover, margin, product mix, price management).
Overseeing single accounts spending up to £250k per annum.
Keeping up to date on market information, including competitor activity.
The successful Area Sales Manager will have the following skills/experience: Ideally has a successful track record in selling a wide product portfolio, into retail or distribution channels.
Understand the supply chain.
Demonstrate the ability to manage existing accounts whilst maintaining new business activity.
Understand territory management and are capable of effective time management.
Be commercially astute and can communicate effectively at all levels.
Have strong IT system skills specifically the use of, Excel, PowerPoint, CRMs and presenting via Teams / Zoom.
