Area Sales Manager Ftc

We have an opportunity available for a Field Sales Representative to join our team on a Fixed Term Contract This is a Maternity cover role which is field based.
As the Area Sales Manager you will be expected to travel across your territory four days per week with one admin day at home or at our Head Office in Blackburn.
The territory covers: Yorkshire, North East and East Midlands.
Duties include: Responsible for establishing and expanding Pets Choice customer base within the pet specialist retail channel whilst developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
Accountable for meeting sales and profitability targets and ensuring regular planning and reporting is maintained.
Journey planning.
Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor activity.
Educating customers about our range of products and brands.
Selling in promotions and new lines.
Representing the company at events and industry specific trade shows.
Travel across the UK, therefore, a full UK driving license is essential.
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, however occasional weekend work for national trade shows will be required.
What do we need from you?
A passion for pets and animals is a must Experience gained from a similar field sales role.
Ability to manage your own time.
Comfortable with travel and long car journeys.
