Area Sales Engineer

Our client is an Engineering company based in Liverpool and they require an experienced Area Sales Engineer to work for them on a permanent basis.
The Area Sales Engineer is accountable for identifying, recruiting, developing and maintaining a portfolio of key customer accounts each delivering profitable turnover and using the entire range of engineering services.
To oversee the relationships of the company with its most important clients.
Responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by understanding and understanding and meeting their requirements.
Adept in building strong relationships with strategic customers, able to identify needs and requirements to promote our companys solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction.
The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.
Key Accountabilities 1.Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of clients to ensure they are recruited and developed.
2.Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements 3.Expand the relationships with new and existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet or exceed their objectives 4.Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner 5.Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams 6.Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust 7.Take the lead in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships 8.Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholdersusing key account metrics Competencies 1.Proven experience asArea Sales Engineer 2.Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs 3.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels 4.Excellent organizational skills 5.Ability in problem-solving and negotiation 6.Strong commercial and technical acumen 7.Computer literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: 1.Proven work experience of recruiting and growing large accounts up to £500k 2.Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience 3.Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular) 4.Understanding of sales performance metrics 5.Excellent communication and negotiation skills 6.An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time 7.Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude Key Working Relationships: Key contact with Customers, Workshop Managers/Supervisors, Directors, Suppliers and Front Office The basic salary is £45K plus Car and OTE of £55-60K JBRP1_UKTJ
