What you'll do You will supervise and mentor a small team of architects, ensuring they have the resources, support, and guidance needed to succeed.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within your team & the wider architecture & engineering disciplines.You will define our long-term architecture strategy for the areas of value your team is responsible for in alignment with business goals and wider technology strategy.You will be working closely with product management, engineering teams, and other departments to ensure alignment between product requirements and technical execution.You will act as a subject matter expert on architectural matters whilst providing guidance to senior management and other teams.You will ensure adherence to architectural principles, design patterns, and best practices.Who you are You will demonstrate leadership abilities with experience building and leading small diverse, high-performing teams, and effectively influencing wider teams.You will showcase a deep understanding of system design, distributed systems, micro-services, databases, designing applications for Cloud and API design.You will have an appreciation for DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.You will be able to demonstrate strong decision-making skills with a focus on technical excellence, business objectives & customer experience.You will display strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about technical challenges.You will have the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to shifting business needs.You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.Worried that you don't meet all the desired criteria exactly?
