Architectural Designer 40 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year Salary Range: £46,031 to £52,538 per annum Starting salary will be subject to relevant experience This post is based at Trust's Corporate Offices, Nailsworth, Gloucestershire The Architectural Designer will play a full operational role supporting the re-visioning and development of Ruskin Mill Trust, which will involve managing and developing the property portfolio of both Ruskin Mill Land Trust and Ruskin Mill Trust, developing and enhancing professional and business relationships and establishing a close working relationship with key stakeholders.
The post holder has responsibility for ensuring the quality and design of all building projects, including the creation of architectural drawings for submission to planners of upgrades and changes to Trust.
The post holder will also hold overall responsibility for the development and completion of medium and large-scale build and renovation projects, working closely with other Trust colleagues including the fundraising team.
To be able to undertake this role you must have significant level of experience and qualified to RIBA Part 2, and preferably experience of working with listed buildings, eco-designs and designs with sustainable insight.
The successful candidate will also have experience of managing small, medium and large-scale building projects, and have an awareness of Rudolf Steiner, John Ruskin and William Morris and be able to conceptualise their insights into a project.
