Architectural & Building Finishes Construction Supervisor 12 Month Contract Dalry, Scotland Inside IR35 Rates Competitive Our Client requires an Architectural & Building Finishes Construction Supervisor to work on a contract basis in Dalry, Scotland.
Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to oversee the architectural and finishing works on a significant Life Science construction project in Scotland.
This role requires on-site supervision to coordinate trades, ensure compliance with project specifications, and uphold high standards of quality throughout the construction process.
Job Role Responsibilities Supervision: Manage daily operations of architectural and finishes works, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety standards.
Coordination: Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams for timely delivery of materials and services.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections, verifying work meets design specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work progress, change orders, and daily reports; ensure all documentation is up to date.
Problem-Solving: Address on-site issues and liaise with project management as necessary.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety meetings and training.
Schedule Management: Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, providing updates and identifying any potential delays.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications Education: HNC, HND, or equivalent experience in Building and Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience: Significant background in construction supervision, with a focus on architectural finishes and related trades.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of architectural plans, specifications, and construction methods.
Additional Requirements: Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays as per project demands, and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination and drug screening.
