Arborist Supervisor Location: Stafford Salary/hourly rate: £15.50 per hour Contract type: Permanent Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM About the role As a Contract Supervisor, you will focus on the day-to-day running of the contract, managing the planning and performance of works through area-based teams, ensuring that the required contract specifications are met.
You will have responsibility for people management, health & safety conformance, and assisting the Contract Manager as required.
You will work closely with both internal teams and clients to ensure smooth operations and the highest standards of performance.
Requirements This role will require Level 3 Maintenance (Formally CS 30 / CS 31) and Level 3 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue (Formally CS 38), Level 2 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness (Formally CS 39), Large fall over 380mm and Level 3 Aerial Tree Rigging (Formally CS 41) Emergency First Aid at Work + Forestry (EFAW+F) and Windblown Trees certificates are desirable but not necessary, as training can be provided.
Proven experience as an Arborist Full Clean Driving Licence.
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and staff at all levels.
Experience in managing teams and performance.
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and risk management.
Ability to train, guide, and mentor others in arb techniques Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
