Arable Operator

Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-caliber arable operator to join the Bedford Estates' Farming team.
This is a key role on a large scale, progressive farming operation across 1900ha, which is in addition to contract farming agreements, environmental schemes, pedigree cattle and recent large-scale investments in grain storage.
The farm operates a mixed fleet of modern John Deere, Fendt and JCB machines with full RTK on a 36m system, including 2 x 12m drills.
Grain storage extends to c.15,000t including a TASCC scheme, with colour sorting and cleaning services.
The successful applicant is likely to undertake spraying, drilling and baling, alongside other arable/estate tasks.
A flexible team player is required who will be comfortable working to high standards, with a resourceful, enthusiastic and health & safety conscious attitude.
The applicant must hold a full UK driving license, PA 1/2/4, forklift certificates, GPS technology experience and a basic level of workshop skills.
