Apprenticeship Programme Lead - Inverness based This role will be a programe lead and head new insight into the Apprenticeship scheme and be involved in all aspects of the programme to ensure its successful design, delivery and engagement.
This role involves working with students virtually and in-person as well as creating and maintaining strong industry partnerships.
The Role By joining the team as an Apprenticeship Programme Lead, you will have the opportunity to be part of our success and support students by delivering engaging content to young people both virtually and face to face.
You will work closely with our partners and volunteers throughout the UK to create and deliver an exciting informative programme to highlight apprenticeship opportunities in STEM careers.
The role is £27-31k, based on skills and experience Fixed Term, 21 month contract.
Full time: 37.5 hours per week Location: Home working, but must be within travelling distance of the Scottish Highlands as this is one of the delivery hubs.
Holiday: 25 days annual leave per year plus bank holidays and additional EDT day, at discretion of CEO Pension: Up to 10% employer contribution Life Insurance: 3 times annual salary Key Responsibilities Manage delivery and course content across the programme, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure their needs are met Be responsible for student recruitment and engagement targets throughout the programme Be accountable for the successful delivery against agreed milestones and costs.
Recruit and retain industry partners for participation in the programme.
If relevant, take part in or arrange networking events for local companies Develop and maintain effective working relationships between EDT and external organisations Maintain accurate records of activities and contacts for future reference and operate business activities within GDPR requirements Align output to the accredication requirements of the Industrial Cadets framework Deliver programmes, ensuring beneficiaries and other stakeholders receive a high-quality experience and all monitoring and evaluation data is captured in an accurate and timely manner.
Use the CRM system to manage delivery, report track progress, ensuring that all relevant data is reviewed, managed and kept up to date Collaborate with the Marketing Team for effective digital marketing and events communication Maintain a good working knowledge of the full range of EDT programmes, activities and accreditations Day to day line management of one Apprenticeship Programme Officer Competencies and Attributes Professional and proactive, with a real pride in quality of work Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to deliver engaging sessions to young people A team worker who can liaise and collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders Attention to detail and good IT skills (databases, CRM, Excel) Organised - Can manage workload and deadlines and demonstrate effective time management.
Excellent project management skills Positive and committed with a clear focus on achieving results Working knowledge of the STEM sector and apprenticeships Experience in the third sector and/or youth sector is desirable The successful caniddate will be required to fulfill and enhanced DBS/PVG check and should hold a clean driving license.
The role will require regular travel around the region and sometimes nationally (involving overnight stays), access to reliable transportation is essential (own car preferred).
