Job summary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) multi-disciplinary teams provide a comprehensive range of services to children and young people from birth to age 18 across Nottinghamshire.
These include in-patient, community, out-patient, paediatric liaison, specialist neuropsychiatry, substance misuse, youth offending and services for looked after children.
We provide outpatient services at various clinic bases and in acute hospital settings, as well as visiting children and young people in their homes and schools.We are looking for an apprentice administration/reception assistant to join our exciting team.
Main duties of the job To provide general office and administration support services.To undertake general office duties, for example, answering the telephone, taking messages, filing, photocopying, handling incoming and outgoing post, etcTo communicate with staff and visitors on a daily basis, providing support where required and working to help resolve any issuesAssist the administrative team to arrange and administer meetings, including booking venues, the preparation and distribution of papersUnder supervision produce accurate letters, reports and maintain databases etc, as requiredUnder supervision develop and maintain administrative support systems and manual and electronic filing systems, ensuring that systems are effective in their use and are reviewed regularlyTo assist with the ordering of supplies as appropriateAssist in the tasks and duties of other staff within the team during periods of staff leave/absence to ensure that an effective quality service is maintained at all times and contributing to the work of the teamTo record and securely store information relating to confidential matters and enquiriesTo undertake an annual appraisal to identify any necessary personal development required to meet the objectives of the Team, and to further develop the post-holders' skills and roleThe post-holder will be required to undertake essential training as and when required About us #TeamNottsHC comprises over 11,000 dedicated colleagues who #MakeADifference every day.
