Amazon Customer Excellence Systems (ACES) is looking for aSenior Product Manager to join us on our mission to: optimize,simplify and streamline the management and expansion of one of themost advanced, large, complex and ever-growing fulfillment networksin the world.
We are part of the First Mile or Customer Fulfillmentoperation within Amazons vast supply chain supporting Fulfillmentcentres (FCs) that inbound, store, process and ship customerorders.We do so by building technicalsolutions that have a direct impact on improving customerexperience by making our processes safer, simpler and easier forthousands of Associates and front line managers.
Our solutions varyfrom internal websites, low latency applications that run ondevices and workstations in our Fulfillment Centers, IoT systemsand optimization models.Customer Fulfillmentis a broad domain and our organization has a good degree of freedomregarding which projects to implement and the technologies touse.In this team you will be able to work onbrand new products, using the latest cloud technologies.
We alsopartner with other global tech teams and work autonomously on theirsystems to improve existing capabilities or create newones.Exposure to both kind of projects willallow you to have an impact on how we delight our customers fromclick to delivery, while learning Amazon's engineering bestpractices.Key jobresponsibilities• Own product strategy, feature design,and implementation across Europe for range of ACES productspartnering with an in-house technical and program teams.• Handle complex product development and businessmanagement scenarios while evaluating various trade-offs (time vs.effort vs. features)• Create buy-in for the productvision both internally and with key external partners.
Developmetrics and KPIs to track impact.• Workcross-functionally with multiple worldwide stakeholder (operations,tech, other product teams, finance, analytics, etc.)
teams todeliver initiatives and features.
• Own business andproduct success metrics through coordination across technology,operations, and product stakeholders.• Gather customerfeedback on product and features to drive continuousimprovement• Gain a deep understanding of fulfillmentoperations, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideasthat improve customer experience, operator productivity and drivegrowth.
About the teamThe ACES(Amazon Customer Excellence System) team owns the standards forprocess, training, equipment, and building layout for Amazon'sEuropean Fulfillment Center network.
We lead large scale programsthat drive operational improvement and support other teams inAmazon to deliver improved solutions and expand the network.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelorsdegree- Experience blending product and programmanagement skills to execute strategic initiatives about processcreation, standardization, and improvement- Experienceowning/driving roadmap strategy and definition-Experience as a product manager or owner- Strongnumerical and analytical abilities with experience usingqualitative and quantitative skills to develop product/ programstrategiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS-Experience owning technology productsAmazonis an equal opportunities employer.
