Finance Manager - Up to £60k Compassionate Care Group, a leading UK provider of health and social care services, is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join our growing team.
Role Description As a Finance Manager at CCG, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial efficiency and supporting our continued expansion.
You will work closely with our Finance Director to ensure accurate financial reporting, manage a team of Finance Assistants, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities - Financial Management: Oversee financial reporting, analysis, and planning.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of 2 Finance Assistants.
- Accounts Receivable/Payable: Ensure timely and accurate processing of AR/AP transactions.
- Credit Control: Monitor and manage outstanding payments.
- VAT Returns: Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheets for all group companies.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct monthly financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for margin improvement.
- P&L Reporting: Prepare monthly P&L reporting by Service/Property.
- Supplier Payments: Review supplier payment runs.
- Payroll: Review monthly payrolls.
Ideal Candidate - Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
- Experience: 5+ years post-qualified experience in a similar role, with prior staff management experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Sector Experience: Experience in the Healthcare Sector is preferred.
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can hit the ground running and is ready to roll up their sleeves to drive efficiencies within the team and wider business.
The Finance Director sees this role as a stepping stone to a Financial Controller position within the next 12 months.
