- Up to £60k Compassionate Care Group , a leading UK provider of health and social care services, is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join our growing team.
Role Description As a Finance Manager at CCG, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial efficiency and supporting our continued expansion.
You will work closely with our Finance Director to ensure accurate financial reporting, manage a team of Finance Assistants, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities Financial Management: Oversee financial reporting, analysis, and planning.
Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of 2 Finance Assistants.
Accounts Receivable/Payable: Ensure timely and accurate processing of AR/AP transactions.
Credit Control: Monitor and manage outstanding payments.
VAT Returns: Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheets for all group companies.
Financial Analysis: Conduct monthly financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for margin improvement.
P&L Reporting: Prepare monthly P&L reporting by Service/Property.
Supplier Payments: Review supplier payment runs.
Payroll: Review monthly payrolls.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
Experience: 5 years post-qualified experience in a similar role, with prior staff management experience.
Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Sector Experience: Experience in the Healthcare Sector is preferred.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can hit the ground running and is ready to roll up their sleeves to drive efficiencies within the team and wider business .
The Finance Director sees this role as a stepping stone to a Financial Controller position within the next 12 months.

Flexible Working Pattern: 37.5 hours over 5 days a week, or 30 hours over 4 days a week.
