What we are looking for We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our team in Building Services.

About the role Babergh and Mid-Suffolk District Councils are going through an exciting period of change, with a new operating model being developed for the DLO (Direct Labour Organisation) within our Housing Directorate.
The DLO oversees the maintenance of housing repairs and voids with some planned work activities and is supported by several contractors.
The DLO has its own trade team.
Reporting to the Customer and Business Support Manager you will be responsible for providing business support to the Building Services DLO for the effective delivery of all associated works.
This role is working at our Great Wenham depot or any site-based working environment as required by the job role.
About you You will: provide highly effective and innovative business support to the Building Services DLO within Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils (BMSDC).
need a NVQ 3 /ONC level or equivalent level of knowledge through experience need a good standard of education with a GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at level C or above and the ability to demonstrate suitable work experience necessary for delivering the role.
