Automotive sector - number one company in their market Owned by a leading global brand Innovative service keeping them ahead of the competition Field based role - 50% new business / 50% Account Management Realistic OTE and uncapped earning potential Area Sales Manager East London, Essex, East Anglia £40k £10k OTE uncapped Car Benefits Role: Selling an innovative, contract based, service and maintenance programme to any business with a fleet of 10 or more trucks.
Your focus will be to develop the regional and local business in a set geographic area predominantly through the careful ongoing management of the existing customer base and the re-engagement of customers who have started to down trade, who have ceased trading with, or are new business prospects.
Key Responsibilities: To develop growth and spend across a diverse territory through an existing customer base.
To identify down-trading and zero-trading accounts and ensure that the customer starts to grow spend again.
To build and execute an area plan with existing customers.
To identify new business opportunities within the area and prioritise securing the business which gives the greatest return for the business for the time available to invest.
Ensure that the service business model is explained in full to the customer base, ensuring the value proposition is understood by the customer and that a high proportion start to switch to this model.
Ensure fleet checks are completed to aid the sales process and value proposition creation.
To achieve agreed monthly, quarterly and annual targets and KPIs.
To ensure all quotations are issued in accordance with the authorised Pricing Levels, in the approved format and with the authorised terms and conditions of sale and payment terms.
Utilisation of relevant CRM systems or similar sales tools, to ensure the right level of transparency and sales activity are monitored and achieved.
To provide insight and feedback to the Regional Sales Manager regarding the customer base, market, and competitors.
Work collaboratively with regional operations and administration teams to ensure maximum customer contact and experience.
You: Were looking for someone with a proven track record in a B2B field sales role, ideally in a contracted service based market.
Previous experience in the automotive sector is ideal but not essential.
You must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a territory, building a pipeline of business with both new and existing customers.
