Role Responsibilities
Apply deep learning explainability methods to guide research and uncover new fundamental science, particularly in the domain of DNA/RNA/protein biology.Promote awareness of explainable AI techniques among colleagues and mentor/advise in their use.Develop new explainability techniques and application methods to achieve scientific objectives.Assist in the interpretation of explainability results and their implications.Present findings effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.Undertake other activities in biological deep learning as required.Essential Skills
PhD in Deep Learning or a related scientific field, or equivalent experience.3 or more years of experience with deep learning explainability methods.Expert skills in practical application of diverse explainability methods and understanding of explainability theory.Demonstrated ability to successfully undertake high-quality research, for example through the publication of high impact scientific papers in journals or conferences or successfully commercialised patents.Strong interest in biochemistry and awareness of fundamental concepts.Ability to write high quality code in Python.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Desired Skills
