IT Application Support Analyst – Civil Engineering - Hertfordshire – Hybrid working - £45-50k Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Application Support Analyst to join a leading construction and engineering organisation based in Hertfordshire.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical business applications.

Role & Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for application support requests, ensuring timely resolution of issues Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application-related problems, escalating to developers or third-party vendors as needed Monitor application performance and proactively identify areas for improvement Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement updates, patches, and system changes Create and maintain documentation, including user guides, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting procedures Assist in the deployment and testing of new applications and features Provide training and guidance to end-users to enhance application utilisation Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience in application support, IT support, or a similar role Proficient using SharePoint, Azure & Office 365 Strong knowledge of business applications, databases, and IT systems Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritise workload Experience with ITIL practices or similar frameworks is a plus Minimum 6 months experience of Procure-to-Pay experience is essential Package & Benefits: Salary up to £45-50k Private medical care Pension scheme Training and development opportunities Mental health, physical health and financial support 24/7 virtual GP service Cycle to work scheme Hybrid working
