Salary: Up to £33,000 + £2,400 shift allowance per annum.
YOUR ROLE Our Bollore AOG (Aircraft on Ground) team based in London Heathrow have an exciting opportunity for a practiced AOG freight Operator where you will support with end-to-end air freight operational activities, ensuring work is completed efficiently and effectively.
This pivotal role will see you working a 4on 4off 12-hour shift from 7am to 7pm therefore flexibility is required.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the AOG Manager you will work across a diverse team you will focus on:
Arranging collections on dedicated movements.
Book all shipments with approved suppliers.
Update customers with shipment details.
Complete all customs and MAWB documentation.
Support with end-to-end import operational activities.
Prepare costing and invoicing as and when required.
Shift handover, adhering to rules and regulations.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Proven air freight experience, ideally within a similar role.
Previous experience of working within an air freight operation.
Proven AOG experience is essential.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
IT Literate experience in using MS packages.
Proven experience of Cargowise would be desirable.
Natural problem-solving skills.
Due to the nature of the role and customer security clearance it is essential for the successful candidate to have resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
