The assignment is within the Clinical and Improvement Analysis Directorate which is responsible for analytics products and insights to support reducing unwarranted variation and improving quality.
Main duties of the job This directorate: Hosts the Model Health System & GIRFT analytics and is the front-door for improvement analytics support to the service.
Leads on clinical audit and registry insights.
Supports Medical Director for Transformation and leads analytics resource for Directorates including Medical and Nursing.
Has close working relationships with CCIO and CNIO and clinical leads.
The assignment is within the Reducing Unwarranted Variation team, which is responsible for analytics delivery to support clinical improvement programmes to reduce unwarranted variation.
Programmes include GIRFT, HVLC, Population Health, theatre utilisation and the National Consultant Information Programme.
This team will provide the analytical focal point for metric development to support combined efforts of GIRFT, Population Health, NCIP and insights from clinical audits to support clinical improvement priorities.
