The Partner Solutions Group is responsible for Hayfin's capital formation, product development and client service activity. The individuals on the team have an focus on either business development (institutional sales) or investor relations (client service). The Investor Relations part of that team focuses on supporting relationship managers in their marketing efforts, providing regular reporting for all of Hayfin's funds and SMAs and responding to information requests received from investors through due diligence questionnaires, requests for proposal and ad hoc questions. Within the team the Analyst role is focused on the timely response to queries and requests from current and prospective investors.
Responsibilities include: Client relationship management support: Co-ordinate and prepare both regular and ad hoc deliverables for Hayfin's investor base Draft emails, reports and other written material for review by senior team members Liaise with Hayfin's investment, finance and legal teams, as well as third party administrators and vendors, to ensure accuracy in reporting and to answer investor queries Manage the team inbox ensuring prompt response to investor queries Client meetings, marketing and fundraising: Prepare presentations, handouts, analysis and briefing packs ahead of client meetings Before meetings & presentations ensure all Hayfin participants are prepared with materials and logistics Contribute to the Firm's fundraising and client retention efforts by co-ordinating information flows and drafting RFP/DDQ responses for review by senior members of the team Manage preparation and maintenance of marketing materials and data room for fundraising Maintain an up-to-date list of Frequently Asked Questions Quarterly and annual reporting: Produce quarterly reports for funds and SMAs, for onward distribution to investors Prepare materials for regular investor update calls, semi-annual Advisory Board meetings and annual Investor Day Create and maintain case studies for investments Client database maintenance and process improvements: Assist in maintaining up-to-date information on clients and prospects in the CRM system (Dealcloud) Provide thoughtful input on improvements to the processes and systems used to monitor investor interaction and investment activity Maintain an up-to-date list of procedures for all regular tasks to assist with team training Product knowledge: Develop understanding of Hayfin's strategies (investments, returns, fees, investors) Develop knowledge on competitive landscape and market developments Requirements Relevant experience and undergraduate degree (minimum 2:1 classification) Financially literate, with an interest in private markets Strong numerical and analytical skills and an aptitude for solving problems Intermediate Excel: formulas, pivot tables, basic data management techniques Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong problem solving abilities Working knowledge of private credit markets Experience in marketing, sales, client communication etc.
