Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Contract Type: Permanent, Term-Time Only
Start Date: Immediate
Responsibilities: Work closely with class teachers to provide individualized support to students with SEN. Assist in implementing personalized learning plans and accommodations.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for all students.
Support students during classroom activities, ensuring their safety and engagement.
Collaborate with other professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists.
Requirements: Experience working with children with SEN (either in a school setting or other relevant context).
Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude.
Strong communication skills to liaise with teachers, parents, and external specialists.
Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of students.
A commitment to promoting the well-being and progress of SEN students.
