ALN Teaching Assistant Salary: £90 per day Location: Milton Keynes Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (no weekends) Closing Date: January 24th 2025 Teaching Personnel are looking for an ALN Teaching assistant to work in one of our partner schools in the Milton Keynes area.
The school is a secondary school that has a centre that specialises in supporting autistic children.
The school provide excellent levels of support to their pupils and create a safe and nurturing environment for them to thrive in.
Responsibilities of an ALN Teaching Assistant Supervise and provide support for pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
Establish positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Promote the inclusion and acceptance of pupils.
Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
Promote self-esteem and independence.
Use strategies, in liaison with the teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals.
Provide detailed and regular feedback to teacher on pupils' progress.
Assist with the supervision of pupils out of lesson times, including before and after school and at lunchtime.
