Algorithm Developer

Job Title: DSP Engineer (Underwater Acoustics ) Location: Mutiple locations around the UK Job Type: Contract/Freelance Clearance: SC 9 Months Phase 1 Our client is seeking the expertise of a Scientific Algorithm engineer who has prior and current experience with dealing with underwater sonar/acoustics, including the hardware that such algorithms will run from.
due to the nature of these roles, you will need to be a British National and have prior / active SC Clearance.
This project will be more than 1 singular phase.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement DSP algorithms for sonar and underwater systems.
Collaborate on system requirements and specifications.
Optimize algorithms for real-time processing on embedded platforms.
Test and debug DSP systems.
Document design processes and results.
Qualifications: Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
Experience in DSP, SDR, and radar systems.
Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.
Real-time signal processing experience.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
