JOB TITLE: Security OfficerLOCATION: London HeathrowSHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday, Saturday to Sunday, 4 on 4 off shift basisPAY RATE: £18.56 per hour to £24.40 per hourRole Overview And PurposeSecurity Officer will ensure exemplary standards of Security and Customer Service are always provided to the client and visitors to the site.
The role will be the public face of the Security Team and should always act with professionalism.
A can-do attitude is essential in this highly influential role.Main Duties & Responsibilities:Be an ambassador of the site delivering first class guest focussed service each timeWorks as a team player in meeting guest needs and actively contributing to the efforts of all departmentsCarry out regular patrols of the centre as detailed in the site assignment Instructions, being always proactiveContinuously look for opportunities to be of assistance to visitors at the centre, proactively helping wherever opportunities ariseEnsuring all incidents are managed in accordance with site policies and proceduresLiaising with site control room proactively reacting to incidents and ensuring colleagues are fully briefed and always supportedIntelligent understanding of human behaviour, monitoring and surveillance of suspect individuals, logging, and reporting incidents in line with site/company policesMaintain vigilance and highlight/manage unauthorised access by banned individualsEnsure radio procedures are always adhered toLiaise closely with the Environmental Services team delivering one service and highlight opportunities in working as one team
