You will be responsible for the overall management and the co-ordination of a multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe and effective standard of patient care within the ECT Clinic.
At all times to ensure compliance with the ECTAS standards and to ensure that accreditation of the ECT service is maintained.
We are looking for someone with the following attributes to join our team: CaringGood judgement A good listener and communicator Main duties of the job To carry out a range of management responsibilities, including the performance review of junior staff.To be responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care without supervision in the ECT clinic.
To be responsible for risk assessment and risk reduction during ECT Clinic and also be aware the responsibility of all employees to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors and staff in the Clinic.
To be fully conversant with the medical emergency procedures in the Clinic.
To be proficient as advanced life support procedures.
To set and implement objectives for ECT clinic staff, learners and ward staff accompanying patients to the ECT Clinic and provide a caring working environment in which staff can maximise their potential and development skills in clinical practice, teaching and management.
