We currently have a vacancy for Full time Advanced Support Worker to form a role in a recently built accommodation in Mintlaw.
This is a brand-new purpose-built Service for 5 individuals.
It will consist of 4 buildings, 3 individual houses and 1 shared house.
Three of the people we support will have some complex needs.
We require to support 24 hours per day with 2:1 staffing during the day.
We also require waken night staff which may change to sleepovers or potentially smart technology through the night as the settle into their new homes.
Shift patterns are likely to be 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 10pm and 10pm to 7am.
The people we support love to do a variety of activities including walking, cycling, arts and crafts, discos and dances., baking and cooking, seeing their families, playing pool, jigsaws, tabletop activities and having a laugh and having fun.
The also like to get out and about in the community - going to the gym, swimming, pubs, restaurants and clubs.
The key to success in this role is ensuring you provide person-centred support, promoting choice, independence and overall wellbeing.
In this role, you will need experience of working with adults with learning disability and complete needs and must be flexible, reliable, and motivated.
Our ideal candidate will have a SVQ Level 3 in Social Care and strong experience in complex needs.
If you do not have a qualification, you will need to have experience in social care.
Your values: You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently.
You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues.
We will develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including the opportunity to learn Positive Behaviour Support methods.

This will allow you to see their wonderful personalities first-hand and fully understand the level of support that they require.
