An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 dynamic and innovative individuals to work as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Annex 21 working towards Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification within Medicine of the Elderly, Community Care Services.
These posts are based within Tarvit Ward Adamson Hospital and Cameron Hospital.
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced nurse's who will embrace the challenge of this exciting and rewarding role.
You should be a registered nurse, who, acting within your professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care.
You will demonstrate safe clinical decision making and expert care for patients.As the ANP for these areas you will have a responsibility to teach, supervise, assess and mentor staff members including planning, prioritising and delegating staff members work.
You will work across all four Pillars of Practice, developing and maintaining professional and organisational relationships with the multidisciplinary team.The ANPs will possess a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Practice and have demonstrable evidence of clinical competence.
Or be willing to undertake the identified training to progress to Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Practice Trainees are paid a percentage of the pay band maximum for the qualified rate which is dependent on the duration of the training period (see Terms and Conditions).
NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay.
This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
Your offer/contract of employment will therefore reflect the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
