Job summary To workas an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the delivery of acute care for patients via face to face, video and telephone consultations and when required, home visits and deliveringcare within their scope of practice to the entitled patient population.
Main duties of the job The candidate will need to demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice.The post holder is an experienced nurse who, acting within professional boundaries, will provide care to patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care,managing acute daily demand.To work with the practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.

Induction TrainingOn arrival at thepractice all personnel are to complete a practice induction programme.Learning and DevelopmentTheeffective use of training and development is fundamental in ensuring that allstaff are equipped with the appropriate skills, knowledge, attitude andcompetences to perform their role.
All staff will be required to partake andcomplete mandatory training as directed by the training coordinator, as well asparticipating in the practice training programme.
Staff will also be permitted (subject toapproval) to undertake external training courses which will enhance theirknowledge and skills, progress their career and ultimately, enable them toimprove processes and service delivery.
