Job summary The Specialist Adult Eating Disorder Service are looking to recruit a B6 eating Disorder Therapist/Practitioner.
The post is fixed term until the end of August 2025 to cover maternity leave.
The successful candidate will: o Provide a specialist CBT-e & IPT model of treatment to clients within the Specialist Adult Eating Disorders service (SAEDS) (training to be provided where required).
o Provide specialist IPT supervision and training to therapists within the SAEDS.
o Act as Care co-ordinator for Eating Disorder Service clients, as appropriate.
To offer advice, support and supervision to other health care professionals.
Main duties of the job o To contribute to the specialist assessment and treatment planning of clients referred to the SAEDS o To manage a caseload of clients with eating disorders, and possibly co morbid conditions, in an out-patient and community setting which will include frequent reviews of risk, physical health status, care plans and treatment efficacy.
o To be professionally and legally responsible for all aspects of their own work including the management of service users in their care.
o To manage the physical health monitoring clinics of patients, to be responsible for the taking of blood, and performing ECG's , along with height and weight monitoring o To organise clinical work effectively with particular regard to clinical priorities and use of time.

Job description Job responsibilities To participate in the development and provision of group interventions for clients and carers.
To provide specialist advice to service users and their carers and offer information about resources available to service users within the community.
To provide specific community outreach interventions to individuals who have been identified as needing more intensive support to address a specific issue.
To work collaboratively and in conjunction with the Adult Community Mental HealthTeams in a Hub and Spoke model of care delivery To facilitate regular physical health monitoring clinics for individuals with complex severe and enduring eating disorders, requiring the interpretation of complex results To contribute and facilitate to carers group programme Person Specification Qualifications Essential oProfessional Qualification in area of Healthcare delivery, degree or post-grad diploma level (eg Social Work, Occupational Therapy, etc) oMust have current professional registration NMC for nurses.
BACP accreditation.
Experience Essential oPost registration experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team with proven ability to work collaboratively across professional boundaries.
Knowledge Essential oKnowledge of NICE guidance relating to eating disorders.
