Ref VPC-241 Internally the job title will be Volunteer Education Project Coordinator Are you a proactive, dynamic and collaborative individual with a proven record of providing highly efficient and high-quality administrative support to a range of stakeholders? If so, St Giles is looking for a Volunteer Education Project Coordinator to provide first-class administrative support to our pioneering SOS+ Service.

Central to our ethos is our belief that people with first-hand experience of successfully overcoming issues such as an offending background, homelessness, addictions and gang involvement, hold the key to positive change in others.
About SOS+ Working with young people in a variety of educational settings, St. Giles' SOS+ Service delivers early intervention work, through one-to-one mentoring and preventative sessions on violence, vulnerability and exploitation. The mission of SOS+ is to prevent children and young people becoming involved in gangs and youth violence by equipping them with tools, knowledge and support delivered by experts with lived experience.
About this key role This multi-faceted role will see our successful candidate coordinate bookings for London and SE regional projects and for BRAVE, including delivering administrative tasks such as creating Calendar invites for staff with full details of bookings and recording bookings on shared spreadsheets. You will monitor deliverables for all designated projects, escalating to managers any barriers to deliverables being met, and respond to information request emails and phone calls about the service, providing high-quality and tailored responses.
We will also count on you to follow up leads for business development opportunities, oversee the management of the service movements, ensuring that sessions are booked virtually through online platforms like Zoom, and face-to-face sessions are appropriately organised, which includes the booking of travel and accommodation. Overseeing the weekly movement sheets for staff and volunteers and supporting coordinators with this process so it runs smoothly for all SOS+ staff members is also an important aspect of this role.
What we are looking for A proven track record of providing first-class, efficient administrative support Experience coordinating bookings, managing calendars, booking travel and accommodation, and providing high-quality customer service via phone calls, emails, and in meetings Experience of project management including coordinating activity, partnership work with key stakeholders to achieve agreed goals, leading to successful delivery of a service/project Proven experience of working in a high-intensity environment, being self-motivating, with an ability to effectively manage your own wellbeing Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written A flexible, collaborative and professional approach to your work.
