Thorn Baker are looking for a confident and outgoing individual to join a well-established engineering company, the position is office based and will be helping with the behind-the-scenes day to day running of the workload.

Full time position.
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm with a 4.30pm finish on a Friday.
£11.50-£12.50 per hour depending on experience.
Free parking.
Good location – on a bus route.
Full support and training where needed.
The job.
General office duties – Answering calls, photocopying, replying to emails.
No customer facing, all internal communication.
Purchasing – booking in, logging, run reports.
Use of a manufacturing system – closing off, confirmation of jobs and finishes.
Ordering equipment – PPE The candidate.
Well organised.
Confident and outgoing.
Not afraid to take initiative and ask questions.
Experience with purchasing.
Some knowledge of a manufacturing system desired – can be trained.
