Main duties of the jobAs a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients stay healthy when they need it most.
Job responsibilitiesAn exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Line Manager in the Oncology & Haematology department. The successful candidate will be accountable for the line management of the Oncology and Haematology admin team. They will need to have strong IT and administration skills, experience of PTL processes, along with driving change and improvements. They will have proven team lead experience. They will work closely with the Admin Services Manager, Clinical Leads and Team Leaders to provide a robust administration service and analysis of clinic utilisation, pathway management, and other information as required by the team.
They will be responsible for implementing process changes to improve the services and will also work closely with other Administrative Line Managers, Admin Services Managers, clinicians, and Cluster Managers.
Support and motivate the administrative workforce to focus on the needs and experience of our patients. We are looking for someone outgoing, with a flexible approach to work, good problem-solving skills, and keen to get involved in improving patient services. The role may be challenging at times, and a self-motivated individual would thrive in this position.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, hours to be agreed.
