This post will be based at Lawson Memorial Hospital, Golspie and the successful candidate will provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative and clerical service for the Care at Home Officer and the Care at Home Service in Sutherland, The post holder will act as the first point of contact for care staff, service users and their families and members of the wider integrated team.
Part of the role involves assisting with setting up and maintaining client files; filing; updating client and staff information using a variety of systems; processing staff wages and assisting the Care at Home Officer with minuting staff meetings and updating care plans and review paperwork.
In order to be able to carry out the duties of this post effectively and safely, candidates will be able to provide evidence of the following.
Good computer, word-processing and typing skills.
Good understanding of general office practice and procedure, excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and respect confidentiality.
This is a permanent full-time post of 37 hours to be worked in line with service requirements This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa.

This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
