Job overview This role supports the development of Kent & Medway Pathology Network (KMPN), implementing and embedding our network values through leadership, management and team development and staff engagement.
The network consists of seven Pathology laboratories currently situated in four Acute Trusts managed by three employers.
There is a suite of transformation projects underway that will unite the Pathology services with shared technology and equipment enabling harmonisation and equality of access to services; and plans to create a joint venture with single management structure.
To respond proactively to emergent workforce development and engagement issues by supporting people managers and teams with timely and effective interventions, such as facilitation, training, coaching and organisational development (OD) consultancy as agreed with the Workforce Project Director.To analyse workforce trends and development needs from staff surveys and personal development plans and develop interventions to complement the cultural and development needs of leaders and teams in collaboration with HR business partners and pathology managers.To collate and present, via our network learning and development platform, development opportunities available through Trusts, NHSE, NHS Elect etc.
Main duties of the job To lead on the planning, delivery or facilitation and evaluation and reporting of Organisational Development initiatives, including mentoring, network induction, team and management development and staff engagement to implement and embed the network values within KMPN under the direction of the Workforce Project Director.
