Main duties of the job To deal with any queries from patients that come in by phone or email, and to assist in booking or changing patient appointments.To provide comprehensive admin support to the Therapy teams.A close working relationship with team members is essential.You will need to have good organisational skills, be able to interact with people at all levels and possess excellent time management skills.

Job description Job responsibilities ENHT is seeking to maintain and expand the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre staff as we move to an exciting new future.We welcome applications from diverse backgrounds who would relish the opportunity to be part of the cancer service, building on the excellent reputation, research and patient experience that the Cancer Centre already delivers.You will receive a High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,314 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata.Please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification information pack for further detailed information regarding this role.
Person Specification Qualifications / Training Essential Evidence of experience in a admin environment Experience in dealing with the general public queries in a courteous manner Good General Education English & Maths (GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent) Previous Experience Essential Relevant previous experience Excellent written and oral communication skills Desirable Experience of Lorenzo or any other PAS system Skills Essential Well-developed interpersonal skills Excellent time management skills Ability to work without close supervision Ability to work in a busy & time pressured environment Confidence, tact and diplomacy Experience of coordinating tasks Knowledge Essential Good level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience of healthcare databases, the Internet, library management systems
