Administration Assistant - FlexiBank One Ashford Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an administration assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can utilise their existing administrative and customer service skills within our fast-paced Hospital environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work across various departments, in both clinical and non-clinical settings.
Full training will be provided.
You will need to be a confident multi-tasker with excellent attention to detail who works well to tight deadlines.
Please note: this is a FlexiBank role working on an 'as and when required' basis; you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff during periods of annual leave or absence.
Reporting to the Administration Lead, the successful Administration Assistant responsibilities will include: providing a high standard of customer service liaising with patients and key stakeholders to complete booking requirements ensuring our main reception duties and enquiries are handled professionally with a focus on delivering good customer service at all times providing administrative support to both the inpatient and outpatient teams, including managing the appointment system, ensuring that patient records and all relevant documentation are processed accurately & assisting with audits Ability to book outpatient diagnostic imaging appointments on an 'as and when' requirement.
Shifts : Typically your hours will be between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday; occasionally shifts may start earlier or finish later according to the needs of the business.
Administration Assistant - FlexiBank Qualifications GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent qualification Experience Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required Previous administration experience in a business/healthcare sector environment.
2 years relevant experience within an administrative or customer service role, including dealing with patients Skills Enthusiastic, passionate, and a good team player with a collaborative approach to achieving goals Proven experience using Microsoft packages and databases Impeccable telephone manner Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written Relevant experience within an administrative/customer service role Good keyboard/input speed Experience of working to tight deadlines Attention to detail Desirables Experience in a hospital / healthcare environment.
