This vacancy has arisen following the successful promotion of the previous post holder.
As a Finance and Administration officer, you will work closely with four Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) in the region, with organisations providing patient care, regional colleagues, system and organisation finance leaders, and national colleagues.
This role reports to one of the Senior Finance Managers within the team, as a hybrid worker you will be assigned to your nearest office base however the postholder should anticipate that delivering our business will require presence in a range of venues across the region.
The role is very varied and would be a great opportunity for someone in the process of, or keen to start, studies towards their accountancy qualification with an aim of a career in NHS Finance.
Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality project, service, administrative support to the Operational Finance team.
Undertake reporting & analysis to ensure the delivery of financial requirements that support excellent patient care.
Engage in activity to support financial reporting, planning, performance, and regulation requirements.
Support the team with operational & medium-term financial planning, financial risk management, productivity & efficiency & major capital business case reviews.
Ideal Candidate: Aspiring finance professional with a passion for supporting the delivery of excellent NHS services.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Working towards a recognised accountancy qualification.
Educated to Degree level or equivalent level (or equivalent experience).
