Job summary We are a growing and progressive Adult ADHD Service based entirelywithin primary care.
We are a remote service who serves the Warringtonpopulation and recently Cheshire & Merseyside and Hereford &Worcester patients via Right to Choose options.
We have an opportunity for a locum registerednon-medical prescriber (NMP) with experience of working in a community settingwho is committed to providing a high-quality service and has a desire tosupport our ADHD service.
We are a small, busy and developing team consisting of experiencedmental health nurses specialising in ADHD, GPs, and a supportive administrationteam.
This post would ideally suit a highly motivated experienced andenthusiastic Nurse, with a specific interest in working with adult ADHD.
Main duties of the job A full range of duties can be found in the supporting document.1.Thedirect provision of high-quality evidence based person-centred physical andmental health care to service users within the adult ADHD service.2.To conduct remote ADHD assessments usingevidence-based assessment tools and techniques.3.Generate clear, accurate and timely reportssummarising the results of the assessment and providing recommendations forongoing treatment and support.4.Stay upto date with professional qualifications including revalidation of certificatesand registration.
5.Toensure a holistic approach to assessments and treatmentis undertaken, including consideration of carer needs, physical health needsand signposting to other resources as required, continuing to consider theseneeds when developing each service users ongoing care plan.
Mental health, educational/employment andsocial needs to also be addressed.

Job description Job responsibilities The purpose of this role is to support, assess and manage adults seeking a diagnosis of ADHD.
You will work alongside other health care professionals who are trained to assess ADHD in adults and have considerable experience in working in mental health and patients with adult ADHD.
In this role you will be expected to undertake assessments of service users with suspected ADHD using your clinical skills and knowledge to diagnose where necessary and explore appropriate treatment and care options for ADHD in adults.You will be expected to work independently within the framework of the teams policies and procedures and under the guidance of the Clinical Lead.A full version of the job description can be found in document format in 'Supporting Documents'.
Person Specification Experience Essential Experience of writing, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans A specific interest in working with Adult ADHD A good knowledge of neurodevelopmental conditions An understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with neurodevelopmental and mental health problems or other disabilities Work with people with mental health problems and/or other disabilities Experience of paid work in direct care provision Desirable Evidence of working effectively at a senior level in a community multi-disciplinary health and social care setting (mental health) Ability to manage clinical risk and an understanding of adult safeguarding procedures Experience of working with the clinical system TPP SystmOne Experience working remotely and using telehealth platforms Experience of working with neurodiverse population groups, specifically ADHD Qualifications Essential Registered professional demonstrating practicing professional registration, RMN registration.
Evidence of post registration training in relevant service area, including Non-Medical Prescribing or willingness to become a Non-Medical Prescriber as soon as possible Desirable A master's degree or higher in psychology, counselling, or a related field
