Role and Responsibilities: As a Special Needs Teacher, you will: •Develop and deliver tailored, engaging lessons that accommodate a variety of learning styles and abilities.
•Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and supported.
•Work closely with other professionals (teaching assistants, therapists, and SENCO) to create and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
•Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and making necessary adjustments to learning plans.
•Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child.
•Be a champion for inclusivity, promoting an atmosphere of respect, understanding, and collaboration.
About You: To succeed in this role, you will have: •QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
•Experience working with students with special educational needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and emotional/behavioural needs.
•A genuine passion for teaching and making a difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.
•Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
•Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude towards overcoming challenges.
