Requirements Support the day to day running of the CHP plant Proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety Undertaking scheduled maintenance and repair of equipment Sampling and loading of feedstock Monitoring and responding to out of hours alarms on a rotational basis including on weekends Monitoring of plant control systems (SCADA) Completing daily checks, log books and records Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues by adhering to company H&S policies and procedures Other duties as required by your line manager Person Specification Practical and hands on, with mechanical experience Excellent organisational skills Strong IT skills Professional manner and effective communication skills Proactive and flexible approach to work Willing to take responsibility and ownership for tasks Ability to work under own initiative but also as part of a multifunctional team Holds a current UK driving licence Able to work a 4 days on and 4 days off shift pattern The successful candidate will be required to work weekends, bank holidays and attend call outs.
