The post holder must be proactive in the development and implementation of the clinical service and long-term strategic direction of the Acute Oncology service, maintaining compliance, ensuring person centred care and evaluates the patient experience across the service.

The post holder must be proactive in the development and implementation of the clinical service and long term strategic direction of the Acute Oncology service, maintaining compliance, ensuring person centred care and evaluates the patient experience across the service.The post holder is key member of the Acute Oncology Service to ensure safe care to patients and service users and maintain a safe environment for all according to local and national standards and evaluating across the service.
Expectation for the practitioner to promote effective workplace cultures across the new team, support acute oncology pathways within the organization to sustain person-center safe effective care.
As part of this team the post may require the holder to work on other sites with East Kent Hospital Trust, in order to meet service requirements and to ensure that staff maintain and develop their skills.
In addition to covering the acute oncology service, the post holder will be expected to support Brain, CUP and sarcoma patients.
