Job summary An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic clinician to join our team in Acute Medicine at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation trust comprises of Warrington Hospital which has 570 beds and Halton Hospital which has community beds.
The Emergency Department (ED) at Warrington serves a population of over 310,000 people; it is open 24 hours daily and sees 85,000 new patients per year.
There are a wide range of specialties on site including medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, ENT, ophthalmology, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology.
Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospital has been rated 'Good' in its most recent CQC inspection.
Main duties of the job The successful applicant will have a mixed experience of acute assessment sessions, acute admissions work and an ability to develop specialty clinic sessions.
Adequate time for administration and SPA has been factored into the job plans.
The jobs attract payment at 10 -12 PA per week.
This includes an on-call allocation.
