Actuarial Model Developer, PYTHON/ R EXPERT Location: London, open to remote workers UK-wide Salary: £70,000 +bonus and benefits A leading global provider of insurance/ reinsurance are building out their Risk Modelling team to expand their Pricing capabilities.
You will lead the development of pricing tools and act as a key point of contact between Underwriters and Actuaries.
This is a rare opportunity for skilled individuals to move into the non-life insurance space.
The role: Build, improve and maintain pricing platforms, models and Underwriter applications Adhere to coding best practices Liaise with Pricing and Underwriting teams to develop existing tools Support across a range of additional projects The individual: Strong skills and experience across Python, R, SQL , and general database management Experience building web-based pricing tools Strong understanding of Actuarial techniques and concepts- Qualified Actuarial is advantageous but not essential Solid understanding of the non-life insurance domain is advantageous but other backgrounds (life, pension..) will also be considered If you feel you are a particularly good fit for the described role, please do contact me directly alongside your application.
