Please note this is a 12 month contract A bit about the job: The role is based in the Actuarial Services team within Customer & Product Existing Platforms.
You will work as part of a small team dealing with a wide range of actuarial work related to our legacy life and pensions products.
Typical tasks include: Processing buy out quotes for small defined benefit pension schemes Processing requests from pension trustees for net fund returns Maintaining spreadsheet programs with current rates and assumptions Creating and amending pension and drawdown illustrations Responding to mailbox queries from admin teams and other areas of the business Performing technical reviews on life & pension products To be effective you will need a broad knowledge of life and pensions products.
You will be responsible for providing audit trails for your work and deliver work that has strong governance and controls.
You will communicate with other areas of the business, including third party suppliers, to ensure delivery timescales are met.
Skills and experience we're looking for: A wide range of product knowledge and experience Strong analytical skills and good MS Excel skills.
Ability to manage and prioritise workload with business objectives.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Bonus opportunity 8% of annual salary.
Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
