32 hours per week.
Shift pattern would include every other weekend.
A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday. Gloucestershire House is a purpose-built building, with six separate additional bungalows, for 36 adults with physical disabilities. This service is rated outstanding by CQC.
About the role As an Activities Worker you will deliver a range of appealing and engaging social/recreational activities, providing exciting opportunities for our residents.
Organising outings and events, your creative flair and passion to provide variety and choice will really make a difference to the lives of people with a disability that we support.
You may be helping to organise a large-scale service social event, finding common interests amongst a smaller group or trying out everyone's baking skills, there will certainly be a range of exciting things to get stuck in to - creativity is key!
About you No experience in activity work is required, but an artistic flair, great organisational skills or interest in arranging fantastic social activities is a must!
Please note manual driving licence held for at least 2 years is required.
Previous experience of activities work / working with and supporting people with disability would however be advantageous.
