Activities Co-ordinator based at Aughton Park, Ormskirk Available Hours: Permanent - Part Time - 24 hours per week.
Looking to use your skills to benefit older people in a homely environment?
We are currently recruiting for an Activities Co-ordinator to join our team and to work within the Home to provide activity opportunities for our residents.
In conjunction with the senior team, you will be responsible for planning and running a programme of activities for the residents linked to assessed social needs identified in care plans.
You will also be responsible for maintaining and promoting activities that older people enjoy and find stimulating.
Your ability to design and facilitate group activities is essential.

Pension, Holiday entitlement depends on number of hours worked (pro rata basis of a full-time entitlement), Life Assurance, Discount Scheme, free uniform & DBS.
About the Home 50 places for residential and dementia care.
Aughton Park has one activities Coordinator on-site five days per week, she provides a weekly planner to all residents in Aughton Park.
Activities in the home include entertainers, quizzes, baking, bingo, flower arranging, sensory activities, art sessions.
We have themed events taking place throughout the year and like families and friends to be actively involved in what's going on in Aughton Park.
