Activities Co-Ordinator Raeden Court Aberdeen20 Hours per weekAbout the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for an Activities Co-Ordinator to work at our Raeden Court Care Home in Aberdeen.This new role is responsible for leading on the development of an activities programme for Blackwood's customers and you'll work closely with our care management and volunteering teams in achieving this goal.Our purpose is to help people live independently, with innovative services and products which mean they can choose how they wish to live their life to the full, regardless of age and disability.
As a result, we look for our Activities Co-ordinator to work collaboratively with customers and their families, ensuring all activities are person-centred, celebrate diversity and promote inclusion for all customers.About youWe are looking for an individual with either experience or an aptitude as an Activities Coordinator.
Passionate about customer service, the successful candidate should be able to provide stimulation and social engagement through a wide range of varied and meaningful activities throughout the calendar year, making sure that these remain within the resources available.
As an organisation, we are keen to build and develop our neighbourhood engagement and the successful candidate should be proactive about collaborative working with local partners that operate within our community, particularly with respect to fundraising activities, signposting and access to resources.
If required, training can be sourced to support the development of this role.This role will provide an excellent personal growth opportunity in the planning, co-ordinating and delivery of activities within a care home environment, with all delivered activities and events being safe, in line with customers' needs and choices, and complementing our high-quality services.
