We're looking for two people (1 x 21 hours a week) (1 x 28 hours a week) to take responsibility for coordinating, supporting and delivering events and activities in our Extra Care and Sheltered Housing Villages and in our wider community neighbourhoods.Job requirements:Develop and deliver a programme of activities and events with our customers, that puts them at the heart of everything that we do.Assist in setting up new groups and support existing customer groups to promote independence, including through volunteering opportunities.Maintain records so that we can deliver on requirements of the statutory framework for housing providers around activities and events.Work as part of a wider Customer & Neighbourhoods Team to promote the values and vision of the services available to customers.Plan and promote the programme of activities and events with customers in a range of ways, including in communities and across social media platforms.Engage with vulnerable, hard to reach or under represented customers to ensure that they are able to access activities and event opportunities.What we're looking for:Some experience of activities and events planning.Experience and knowledge of health and safety legislation in risk planning for a wide variety of activities and events.A passion for supporting customers and an understanding of our aim to deliver great customer service.Excellent communication skills and good ICT skills such as Word, Excel, Publisher and social media.Resilience and the ability to record, share and prioritise customer feedback.Flexibility, with the willingness to work a variety of shifts and locations to cover service requirements and delivery (including weekends)Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle for work.Help us to make sure everyone in our region has access to a happy home.
