The successful applicant will be required to work flexibly to support the Clinical Coding Team, in the timely and accurate clinical coding of all in-patient episodes, adhering to National Clinical Coding Standards at all times.
You will be expected to attend clinical coding training and workshops, as necessary to maintain personal addition, the successful applicant must possess a keen eye for detail, and be capable of organising their own workload in order to meet strict deadlines.
You will have a proven record of working in a team environment and contributing to the team's success, be able to analyse and interpret complex medical information, and be able to effectively communicate with all relevant healthcare professions.Successful applicants will be shortlisted based upon how they meet the essential and desirable criteria set out in the Person Specification, candidates who fail to demonstrate this will not be shortlisted.
