Location: Rotherham Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE) + Benefits About the Role: As a Senior Accountant, youll play a key role in managing financial operations, providing strategic financial advice, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Youll be working closely with a dynamic team and senior management to drive financial performance, streamline processes, and support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee bookkeeping services for a range of clients Manage and take full responsibility for your own portfolio of clients Prepare complex company financial statements and reports Produce interim management accounts for business reviews Prepare personal tax returns and partnership accounts/returns Review and submit quarterly VAT returns, including VAT registration and deregistration Assist with forecasts and business projections (not essential) Attend client meetings, interacting with directors and business owners Train and mentor staff, delegating tasks and responsibilities Handle company secretarial duties as required Prepare P11Ds (desirable but not essential) Work within set budgets and strive to meet monthly financial forecasts Undertake any other general accountancy or administrative tasks as needed Skills & Experience Required: Qualified by experience or Part-Qualified (ACA/ ACCA) Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks) Excellent communication and leadership skills Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines What We Offer: Full study support for further qualifications 31 day holiday flexible working hours to support work-life balance Cycle to work scheme Regular social events to foster team bonding Career development and training opportunities JBRP1_UKTJ
